We’re holding a One Warm Coat Drive!

Dear Coworkers/Family/Friends/Patients/Vendors/Area Community Members:

This year, SkyVision Center is teaming with One Warm Coat to hold a coat drive.  All coats we collect will be delivered here locally to help our neighbors who are in need of a warmer winter. Our goal is to warm men, women and children in the area by collecting at least 200 coats and $250!

4 organizations are eagerly awaiting your donations:

Men’s and Women’s Centers:

Ed Keating Center – West (Cleveland-117th St.)

The Jean Marie House (Brooklyn)

Family Need Centers:

The Cleveland Furniture Bank (Middleburg Heights)

Parma Area Family Collaborative (Parma)

There are several ways you can support the drive and help SkyVision Center meet our goals:

  1. Donate coats (&other warm clothing*) to our drive! December 3 -7 and Dec 10-14 (M-F) stop by between 8 am and 5 pm the SkyVision Center eye care practice at 2237 Crocker Road Suite 100 (across the street from the American Greetings headquarters and Crocker Park) to drop off gently worn coats. All coats collected will be donated locally to our neighbors in need. Get all of the details here: SkyVision Warm Friendly Care Coat Drive.

  1. Donate dollars! Donations to One Warm Coat support their coat drive program and outreach efforts.  Every $5 donated warms 10 people- what an incredible impact!  You can donate directly to SkyVision Center’s coat drive and help us reach our goals by clicking here: SkyVision Warm Friendly Care Coat Drive.  You can also donate by cash or check during our coat drive.

  1. Help us spread the word! There are millions of Americans who simply cannot afford a warm coat. Please help us spread the word about SkyVision Center’s drive on social media so that we can collect as many coats and dollars as possible. Use #no1cold #igavewarmth.

We hope you will support us and help us make this year’s drive a huge success! Ultimately, we will be making a big impact in our local community by spreading warmth to our neighbors in need! You can learn more about One Warm Coat by visiting their website: https://www.onewarmcoat.org.

*other warm clothing may be items such as:  hats, scarves, gloves, socks, mittens, vests, sweaters, sweatshirts

Thank you for your consideration!
