Testimonial from Lyndsay Tollefsbol
My name is, Lyndsay Tollefsbol, I am twenty four years old and have been wearing glasses and contacts for over ten years. It was brought to my attention that the Skyvision Centers of Westlake has an annual 'Giving Eyes Campaign'. The owner/surgeon, Dr. Darrell White, generously gives five lucky people free LASIK eye surgery, if qualified. I immediately thought, how great it would be to received this generous gift, especially with having the holidays upon us. Unknowingly, Rose, an amazing woman I have worked with for seven years, wrote a letter about me to the staff at Skyvision thoughtfully explaining why I deserved to receive this very special gift. On December 15, 2006, I got the call of a life time telling me that I had been one of the five people chosen to receive the free LASIK eye surgery from Dr. White. Immediately, my eyes welled with tears at the very thought that I would most likely never be wearing glasses or contacts again. I was so overwhelmed.
The day of my surgery, I admit I was quite nervous. I had so many mixed emotions I could barely contain myself. I arrived at Skyvision around 8:00a.m. to be greeted only by smiling faces. The entire staff were extremely welcoming and understanding about my nervousness. Not one or two, but every employee made sure to help me feel comfortable and relaxed.
During the eye surgery, I was surprisingly very relaxed. Dr. White and his staff could not have been more comforting. Dr. White informed me of every move he was about to make and everything being done, all in his calming reassuring voice.
Within ten minutes or so, Dr. White and his assistants told me to sit up, look out the window of the surgery room and wave to my smiling sister that was able to watch this amazing procedure being done, it being my choice for the procedure to be viewed.
After all of this being done on that day, Dr. White assured me that it was okay to return to work the following day without any complications, as long as I followed his instructions, and used the eye drops provided.
All I have left to say is 'Purely Amazing' and so very professional! Thank you for this incredibly pleasant opportunity, Dr. White, Rose, and the staff of Skyvision Center of Westlake.

Testimonial from Kelli Hammar
Just as anyone these days does, I knew several people who had LASIK surgery, including my own mother, but never thought that it was something for me. The thought of surgery on my eyes was frightening to me. With two young children and only one set of eyes, the fears of the'What if's' always kept me resigned to fighting with contacts and glasses for the rest of my life. Then, the more and more I heard about the procedure and the more and more frustrated I got with dry itchy contact lenses during my bi-yearly allergy seasons, and my daughter breaking several pairs of glasses as she used them for 'dress up' accessories, I began to consider that the benefits would vastly outweigh my fears. Those fears were quickly set aside as I began working with the staff at Skyvision.
From the second I began the pre-surgery consultation to the post-operative visit, every step of the process was explained in detail and in terms that anyone could understand. For anyone who is scared of operating rooms, you can rest assured that you are in good hands with Dr. White. He explained the process step by step and was extremely calming and reassuring during the surgery.
The day after my procedure I was able to see 20/20, which is something I never could have done before, even with contacts or glasses. I am so grateful to the Skyvision staff for their caring and commitment to their patients. I would recommend them to anyone considering the LASIK procedure. Now I can gladly give my daughter my old glasses to dress up with because the staff at Skyvision made sure that they are a thing of my past!

Testimonial from Kristen
Bozman
Hi, my name is Kristen Bozman. I am 35 years old. I'm a single mother of two children. I have worn glasses for about 20 years. I saw a pamphlet regarding the Giving Eyes Program and brought it home. Each year Dr. White and Dr. Bescak give 5 lucky people free LASIK eye surgery. My mother took the pamphlet and she nominated me for this program. She told Skyvision Center my story and why she thought I deserved to receive this wonderful opportunity. Thanks to my mothers letter I was one of the finalists in the Giving Eyes Program. I just couldn't believe they picked me.
I went for my exam and I met with Dana. She is awesome, as is the rest of the staff at Skyvision Centers. She explained everything to me step by step. Later that same day I received the call that I had been selected to receive free LASIK surgery. I was ecstatic!! I just couldn't believe this was really happening to me of all people.
I went for my surgery on 12-21-06. I was a little nervous but everyone was so nice they put my mind at ease. Dr. Bescak was so nice and informative. He let me know everything he was doing step by step. My step-dad took me the day of my surgery and he was able to watch my procedure while it was being performed. There was someone with him explaining everything to him as it was happening.
The whole procedure took about 10 minutes in all. I sat up after the procedure and was able to see my step-dad outside the window waving at me! The very next day I had my follow-up visit and my vision was 20/20.
I cannot thank Dr. Bescak and Skyvision Centers of Westlake enough for all their kindness and their wonderful gift of being able to see without glasses!
