Skyvision Centers is a brand new eye care business, a brand new concept in providing eye care. Conceived in 2004 by Darrell E. White, M.D., an ophthalmologist practicing in Cleveland Ohio, the first Skyvision Center was launched in January of 2005. The Skyvision concept is strongly patient-centered. Best practices from leading consumer and service organizations were adopted to the medical setting in order to produce a practice- wide program that raises the bar for the patient experience in eye care.
Many challenges and barriers exist to make it ever more difficult to succeed as a business and as a profession. The Skyvision Center concept includes a new level of partnership between ophthalmologists and optometrists, facilitating professional and business success for both. Truly new ideas are offered for the successful integration of new professionals into a Skyvision practice. This, in turn, provides security for senior partners in the business. New and innovative ideas for referral and practice growth are a core element in the Skyvision Center concept. Best practices from leading businesses of all types were adopted to medical care and incorporated as core elements of Skyvision Centers.
Skyvision Centers is a new and exciting concept in eye care, a new and exciting way to practice medicine. Conceived in response to challenges present in medicine today, primed for success by anticipating new trends, raising the bar in patient-centered eye care, Skyvision Centers is a truly new way to provide vision care.
